Phoenix-Aaria Angela Purcell Hastings, NZ Death: Gone Too Soon: In Loving Memory of Phoenix-Aaria Angela Purcell

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the whānau announce the passing of our precious princess, Phoenix-Aaria Angela Purcell, cherished and deeply loved daughter of Henitemiri Purcell and Dillon Golotoa.

Phoenix-Aaria was a treasured blessing whose beautiful spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though her time with us was far too short, she showed extraordinary courage, strength, and love that will forever remain in the hearts of her whānau, friends, and community. She was truly our little warrior princess, teaching us all the true meaning of bravery, resilience, and unconditional love.

Phoenix-Aaria will lay in state at her home, 11 Horoeka Lane, Hastings, where loved ones are welcome to come and pay their respects, share memories, and support the whānau during this difficult time.

We will take our precious taonga to Ruahāpia Marae on Wednesday, 13 May at 1:00pm, with poroporoaki to be held that evening at 7:00pm. A final service celebrating Phoenix-Aaria’s life will take place on Thursday, 14 May at 11:00am.

Although words cannot ease the pain of this loss, we take comfort in knowing that Phoenix-Aaria’s memory will live on forever. Her smile, strength, and beautiful soul will continue to guide and inspire us each day.

There are no true goodbyes for someone so deeply loved. You will always remain in our hearts, our thoughts, and our prayers.

Forever loved, forever cherished, forever our little princess.
