The family of Adrian Brown have paid heartfelt tribute to the 34-year-old father of three following his death after an assault in Moss Side.
Adrian died in hospital after being attacked on Raby Street on Friday, 8 May 2026. His family said they are devastated by the loss of a man they described as loving, caring and devoted to those closest to him. Specialist officers continue to support the family as they come to terms with the tragedy.
His partner, Tamia, said Adrian’s death has left an unimaginable void in their lives, but said his memory and legacy will continue through the love he shared with his family and children. She said they would “cherish every moment” spent with him and remember him for the kindness, strength and support he brought to those around him.
Adrian’s mother, Jennifer, also paid an emotional tribute, describing her son as a caring family man who “did not deserve this.” She said he was a devoted father, loving son, brother and uncle whose life was taken far too soon. She added that the family is struggling to process the loss and asked for privacy while they grieve.
Friends and relatives have since shared messages of sympathy and support, remembering Adrian as someone who was dedicated to his family and well loved within the community.
Police have launched a murder investigation into the incident and confirmed that several arrests have already been made. Detectives say enquiries remain ongoing as officers continue to examine all possible lines of investigation surrounding the attack.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the assault on Raby Street to come forward as they work to establish the full circumstances that led to Adrian’s death.
