Pittman Trucking is mourning the heartbreaking loss of one of our own, Driver Daylen Buchanan, who tragically passed away last night in a non-trucking highway accident. His passing leaves an immeasurable void within our company and in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Daylen was an exceptional young man whose character, work ethic, and kindness stood out to everyone around him. In a world where people often criticize the younger generation, Daylen was a shining example of integrity, humility, and dedication. He took tremendous pride in his work, represented Pittman Trucking with professionalism, and quickly earned the respect of coworkers and customers alike. During his time with us, he handled every responsibility with care and excellence, never once damaging equipment and always striving to do his very best.
Yet Daylen’s impact reached far beyond his role as a driver. He was a true friend to those around him. After long days on the road, he would still check to see if anyone needed help before heading home himself. His laid-back spirit, warm smile, and genuine kindness made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. Daylen was the kind of person whose presence made every day brighter.
Most importantly, Daylen loved the Lord and lived his faith openly and sincerely. His attitude, compassion, and the way he treated others reflected the strength of his beliefs and the gratitude he carried in his heart. While we grieve deeply, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace with his Savior.
We ask everyone to keep Daylen’s family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.
